Michael Herrera D.O.
Dr. Michael Herrera was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and graduated from Westwood High School with honors. After completing his undergraduate at Arizona State University, Dr. Herrera went on to medical school at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. After earning his Medical Degree he went on to complete his Family Practice Residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital where he was Chief Resident. He is board certified and a member of the Arizona Academy of Family Physicians as well as the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Herrera and his wife reside in Gilbert with their 6 children. In his spare time he enjoys playing sports, doing yard work, and coaching his kids sports teams. He and his family enjoy spending time together swimming, going to the movies, quad riding, and going to Disneyland.
From an early age Dr. Herrera has always had a desire to make the community a better place by caring for the sick. This desire
has led him to work hard in his studies to be able to bring the best care to his patients. His heart is full of compassion and a true desire to put the patient's needs first.
Dr. Herrera enjoys practicing all types of medicine with a special interest in Pediatrics and Urgent Care medicine. I am very excited to be able to open a practice here in Gilbert and look forward to serving you and other members in the community.
